Fix for iOS5 waiting for review

Finally upgraded my iPhone 3G to a 4S. That meant I could upgrade the development tools to the latest and greatest.

Regression testing found a bug checking into a Foursquare venue.

That fix has been submitted to Apple.

I finally squashed a defect updating a Trip on the details view. This fix has been submitted to the App Store and is waiting for approval.

Show Me the Mileage for Android

Yesterday I started porting Show Me the Mileage to the Android platform. The goal is to compare and contrast native iOS and Android development.

Show Me the Mileage V2 available in App Store

V2 has been approved and is in App Store. Yay!

Show Me the Mileage adds Foursquare integration!

I've finished the coding necessary to integrate Foursquare's API V2 with Show Me the Mileage.

Once I have a couple of the graphics I need I'll be submitting it to the App Store.

The idea behind this is when you are driving around you likely stop one or more times.

Could be for coffee, lunch, dry-cleaning or bikram yoga, the usual stuff.

So each time you Stop Tracking and when you End Trip the latitude and longitude is stored in Show Me the Mileage.

You can then view these Stops, view My Favourite and Nearby Foursquare venues and Check in to the appropriate venue.

Show Me the Mileage under new ownership

kinda... The business I was developing Show Me the Mileage with is closing its doors. So I'm in the process of resubmitting the app under my own company with Apple.
